Launch media
Nine short, silent MP4 demos accompany ../launch-post.md. Each has a JPEG poster with the same basename. Open ../launch-post.html to play them in context.
Hands-on examples
The three hands-on examples compile and render the production Desktop components. The composer uses the real editor and queue controller/panel; timeline settings drive the real session grouping and row renderer; search uses the actual Desktop search bar, controller, and highlights. They include normal session messages, tool disclosures, diffs, and shell output with fixture content.
Only the session/server data boundary is backed by memory. Text entered here updates the fixture session, and Reset recreates it. The production components and application CSS are isolated in same-origin frames so the article's typography does not restyle them. The corresponding recordings sit under “Watch it in Desktop”.
The source is packages/app/launch-demos/ in the local V2 worktree, built from the audited revision below. Its README lists the exact production imports. The message-shaped links near the introduction are article navigation.

Provenance
- Current renderer source:
anomalyco/opencodecommita912a6ee4fe506edc3f96555f86c2d6ad9fdce3d, fetched September 8, 2026. - The six new recordings use production UI components in a local Chromium preview, backed by staged demo responses. They are UI demonstrations, not recordings of a live model completing the sample project. They do not show the native Electron window frame. The mobile recording demonstrates the responsive web UI, not a physical phone.
- Native import and dropzone recordings were already published on their feature PRs. They demonstrate the real Desktop flows, but reflect the appearance at the time those PRs were recorded. Their source URLs are below.
- The browser demo runs the unmodified Desktop app from the audited V2 revision in an isolated development instance. Its embedded browser navigates a real, locally served Fieldnotes example and receives actual click and text-input actions. The website and transcript are staged content, not the output of a live model run.
- The computer's physical desktop was locked during capture. For the browser clip, the real Electron renderer and its native Chromium surface were recorded separately, then composited at the pane's measured coordinates and cropped to the browser panel. The UI and interactions are real; no browser-interface replica or generated video is used. The recipe is in
../capture/native-capture.tsand../capture/export-browser.ts. - Clips are cropped and trimmed. Mobile has a short final-frame reading hold. Task execution is not sped up or fabricated. These clips are not performance evidence.
- Nine clips are included in the post. The browser clip demonstrates direct interaction with the development preview. Automatic agent browsing and restart recovery remain described from the implementation rather than presented as recorded model runs.
